One of our best selling wines. Cru classé rosé from Provence is hot right now. This is one of the best producers from Provence.
Decanter magazine in July 2014 named this wine in their top 30 Provençal rosés.
The name says it all. Irresisitible! An irresistible rosé from Provence, the home of rosé.
Domaine de La Croix, created in 1882, is situated near the village of La Croix Valmer with an outlook to the beaches of St Tropez. It has the classification of cru class. Very few Provençal producers are given the cru classé classification, denoting an exceptional winery.
Vigneron magazine named this as one of the three best producers in Provence.
And here is a testomonial from a happy customer..”the domaine de la croix is the ‘winner’. Although we thought all three rose that we sampled were incredibly drinkable the domaine de la croix was even more so – truly delicious. ” David Sydney 14/5/2012
Madison magazine says ” if decadence is what you’re after, then you won’t be able to resist La Croix, Irrésistible Rosé”

Region /Terroir: AOC Côtes de Provence Cru Classé
Grapes: a complex blend of traditional Provençal varieties: Cinsaut (20%), Shiraz (15%), Grenache (25%) Mouvèdre (25%), Rolle (5%), Tibouren (5%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%)
Alcohol: 13% VOL
Soil: Slatey and sandy, on a hillside.
Wine making: The grapes are harvested by machine. Fermentation occurs in low-temperature stainless steel tanks.
Red wine grapes are used to make rosé. The colour is mostly the natural colour of the juice, but a brief period of skin contact or maceration can add extra colour. In Côtes de Provence at least 20% of the wine must be saigneé, which means “bled”. After crushing the free-run juice is run off after a short pre-fermentation maceration, producing a pale pink wine.
Cellaring potential: Drink now
Our Tasting notes: Pale pink, elegant nose with citrus fruits aromas. Supple, fruity with a soft and silky “finale”.
This gorgeous looking bottle will make a statement on any table!
